George C. Chryssis, a business and community leader and an author/poet, is a naturalized American citizen, born in Greece and educated in the United states, receiving Bachelor and Master Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.

During his business career he has founded, co-founded and financed a variety of successful business enterprises, providing employment opportunities to many Americans and fostering a number of technological advances. He served many of these businesses in the capacities of Chairman, President and CFO.

He is a staunch supporter of education, the arts and the letters and has served many institutions in a variety of leadership and executive positions. He currently serves as an Overseer at Northeastern University, as a Trustee at Wentworth Institute of Technology, and as a Trustee of Anatolia College, Greece. He also served as a Trustee and a member of the Executive Committee of Hellenic College and Holy Cross.

Taking pride in his ethnic heritage, he is passionate in promoting and helping the Greek American community to achieve and maintain high standards through faith, good citizenship, business, education, the arts and philanthropy. He is a supporter and a communicant of his Orthodox Christian Church.

For his leadership and contributions to the business, the community and the letters, he has received numerous awards, citations and recognition in the United States and abroad.
