Box 92991 Los Angeles, CA 90009 George L. Graziadio, along with George M. Eltinge, founded and opened the first Imperial Bank in 1963 in Los Angeles. In 1969 Imperial Bancorp was formed. Today, Imperial Bancorp has assets of approximately $3 billion and capital and reserves in excess of $200 million. Subsidiaries and/or enterprises today include: Imperial Bank, Imperial Ventures, Inc., Pacific BanCard Association, Imperial Credit Industries, Inc. and Southern Pacific Thrift and Loan Association. Additionally its wholly owned subsidiary, Imperial Trust Company, has assets of approximately $6 billion. Imperial Bank and/or its various subsidiaries have offices in the principal cities of California. The Graziadio family is the major shareholder of the corporation. As a partner in various real estate development companies, including Eltinge and Graziadio Development Company, Mr. Graziadio and Mr Eltinge developed over 100 shopping centers in 20 states, many of them Kmart Shopping Centers. Mr. Graziadio is Past International President of the World Council of Young Mens Service Clubs with over 100,000 members in over 57 countries. He is Past President and Founding Director of the Torrance Memorial Medical Center Health Care Foundation; Life Member of the University of Southern California Associates; Life Member of Pepperdine University Associates; Charter Member of the National Italian American Foundation; recipient of the Albert Schweitzer Leadership ward and the Boy Scouts "Good Scout Award;" recipient of the "Targa dOro" Award from the province of Puglia, Italy; member of the International Council of Shopping Centers; former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hugh OBrian Youth Foundation; Board Member of the French Foundation for Alzheimer Research; a member of Los Angeles World Council, Newcomen Society, the Governors Commission of the Californias, the Aero Club of Southern California, and the Town Hall of California.
