W. Andrew Hodge, MD

W. Andrew Hodge, M.D.,  is a world renowned orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthritis surgery and bioengineering research.  He holds several U.S. patents on orthopedic implants and devices, and has published over 100 articles in prominent medical journals. Dr. Hodge has been recognized for his accomplishments on CNN News, the Discovery Channel,  Science Magazine and was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in Medicine.   During more than ten years of performing surgery, conducting research and teaching at Massachusetts General Hospital, he designed and directed the BioMotion Research Laboratory for studying human motion and rehabilitation.  During this time in Boston, he maintained  dual appointments at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  Dr. Hodge is Founder and Chairman of The BioMotion’s Institute for Mobility and Longevity, a non-profit organization that supports orthopedic and related research and education.  He is actively involved with the Center for Skeletal Aging Solutions at Scripps-Florida where he’s appointed in the Department of Metabolism and Aging. Dr. Hodge maintains clinical offices in Jupiter, FL; Boulder, CO; and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
