Present

Mr. Esposito is the President and Chief Executive Officer of eResearchTechnology, a publicly traded company that provides technology and consulting services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries worldwide that enable its clients to accelerate clinical development of drugs and devices that improve the quality of life for all of us.  Mr. Esposito formerly served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the company since

April ’98 and has served as a member of its Board of Directors since 1999.

Experience

Prior to joining eResearchTechnology Mr. Esposito, served as President and Chief Executive Officer of DLB Systems, a Safeguard Scientifics’ company. Mr. Esposito, an information scientist for twenty-eight years, has served in executive positions with several companies that provided technology (hardware, software, telecommunications) and consultation to the legal, financial, manufacturing, government, education, and medical markets.  Over the years, Mr. Esposito has provided consultation to some of the most admired companies across industry such as American International Group, Citicorp, Johnson and Johnson, Coca Cola, and Federal Express.  In addition, he has worked with many federal, state and local government agencies including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Boards of Education – New York and Atlanta; States - New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Georgia, and Florida; Cities – New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Tampa; and Counties – Nassau and Pinellas

Community Service

Mr. Esposito believes that business has a responsibility to work closely with the community, local law enforcement and the education system to reinforce the importance of family values, security and education for all.  Mr. Esposito has been a member of the New York City Economic Development Council, a Trustee for the Metro Atlanta Crime Commission (MACC), and a Trustee for the Atlanta Partnership For Business and Education (APBE).   As a Trustee of the Atlanta Partnership For Business and Education, Mr. Esposito chaired the committee that developed the “mentor program” that aligned businesses with individual schools to assist in student development and enrichment. In addition, he sponsored a technology donation to the Atlanta Metro Police to build a computer network to facilitate the rapid exchange of information pertaining to violent crimes and initiated a technology donation to the City of Philadelphia to provide a data base to assist the city in helping “the homeless”.

Personal

Mr. Esposito is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a degree in Management Sciences.  Mr. Esposito and his wife Laura recently celebrated their twenty-fifth anniversary and they live in Holmdel with their two sons Nicholas, a junior at West Virginia University and Michael, a junior at Holmdel High School.
