James C. Witham, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Global Environmental Solutions, Inc. is the epitome of a true entrepreneur, having a sincere passion for all he does. He believes the main ingredients required for success include: hard work, common sense, keen insight, the ability to make decisions, and the willingness to work.

  Prior to founding Global Environmental Solutions, Jim Witham founded U.S. Alcohol Testing of America, a research and development company funded through private placement financing followed by an initial public offering, and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for eight years. He has served as Chairman of the Board of two additional public companies. Previously, Jim spent 25 years in sales and marketing in the sporting goods industry, the last 16 of which he served as President of J.W. Sales Associates, Inc.

  After a year of retirement, Jim realized the excitement and gratification of business was much more satisfying than golf, tennis and travel. He spent several months investigating various industries and their potential for growth and was intrigued by the water purification and wastewater industry, not only for the size of it but for the projected growth and consolidation of the industry. Thus, he formed Global Environmental Solutions to gain entrance into the water purification and wastewater treatment industry.

  In 1994, he was presented the All-American Humanitarian of the Year Award. An avid golfer, Jim serves on the board of the All-American Collegiate Golf Foundation.

  A truly generous man, he supports various non-profit and political organizations in addition to aiding individuals with personal needs. He lives by his motto, "Forget what you give but always remember what has been given to you."
