  John J. Kelly is President & Chief Executive Officer of Willis Corroon Corporation of N.Y., a subsidiary of Willis Corroon Group which is the 5th largest global insurance broker with $1.2 Billion and 11,000 employees worldwide.   Willis Corroon of New York handles in excess of $300,000,000 in commercial insurance premiums, employees over 250 people and handles some major Fortune 500 corporations including Texaco, Pepsi, NYNEX, Chemical Bank, Equitable, Union Carbide, G.E. Capital, Revlon, and the Archdiocese of New York.   John did his undergraduate work at Baruch College of the City University of New York where he earned his BBA degree in Accounting in the evening division in 1975. He also attended Rutgers University where he earned his MBA degree in 1983 in the Executive MBA Program.

Professionally he is active in a number of organizations including:

  • Director of the Insurance Brokers Association of NY.
  • Past Governor of the John Street Club
  • Director of New York Chapter of CPCU

In addition, he is active in a number of charitable organizations including:

Member of CARE’s Corporate Counsel

  Board of Director of PROMESA Foundation which is an organization committed to the human and physical revitalization of the South Bronx. PROMESA provides substance abuse treatment, Health, Housing, Daycare, Education & Job Training services to local residents. PROMESA recently completed construction of a 108 bed Residential Health Care facility for HIV/AIDS patients and a 70-bed Residential Youth Substance Abuse Treatment Facility.  John and his wife Nancy are also, currently applicants for The Covenant House Mentor Program.
