Michael T. Reddy is Chairman and CEO of the EDS Global Securities Industry Group. Mr. Reddy was previously Chairman of FCI Incorporated, a management and information technology services firm dedicated to the securities industry. EDS acquired FCI in May 1995.

  Prior to forming FCI, Mr. Reddy was a Senior Vice President of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, where he was responsible for International Operations, Systems and Telecommunications, U.S. Capital Markets Operations and Systems, and U.S. Consumer Markets Operations. He also spent nine years in the Operations Division of J.P. Morgan & Co.

  Mr. Reddy has served on the Board of Directors of the Options Clearing Corporation, the Intermarket Clearing Corporation, the International Securities Clearing Corporation and NASD Market Services, Inc. He was a member of the Working Committee of the group of Thirty that recently presented recommendations to improve worldwide clearance and settlement of securities, a past Chairman of the Operations Committee of the Securities Industry Association and has served on various other industry committees. He has lectured at the Centre d’Enselgnement de Recherche Appliques du Management (CERAM) in Nice, France, appeared on The Today Show, been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and American Banker, and has testified before U.S. House and State committees addressing various securities industry matters. He is currently an Adviser to the Securities Industry Association on clearance and settlement issues and serves on the Operations Committee of the National Association of Securities Dealers.

  Mr. Reddy holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance and Business Administration from Pace University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. He is also the author of a new book: Securities Operations: A guide to Operations and Information Systems in the Securities Industry.
