  Robert J. Tomsich, a lifelong citizen of Cleveland, Ohio, began his business career in 1956, shortly after graduating from college with a B.S.M.E. degree.

   Mr. Tomsich founded a company to provide design engineering services for industrial customers. Over the past 36 years, this company, now known as Nesco, Inc., has expanded through internal growth and by acquisition. Mr. Tomsich serves as chairman of his company which has thousands of employees working throughout various service and manufacturing groups.

   Mr. Tomsich has been married for 34 years to the former Susan M. Kirkhart. The couple has three adult children who are working at Nesco, Inc. The family has been members of the Garfield Methodist Church for the past 20 years.

   His academic and civic activities include:
