  Stanley Kreitman received his Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 1993. Born of immigrant Russian parents, Kreitman is a native New Yorker who grew up on the streets of the Bronx. He is committed to improving the quality of life in New York City and its environs.

  Stanley Kreitman serves on the Boards of the New York Institute of Technology (Chairman); the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine; St. Barnabas Hospital; the Police Athletic League; New York Police Foundation; New York City Board of Correction; New York's Finest Foundation (former President); Crime Stoppers of Nassau County (Chairman); and Nassau County Sports Commission.

  In addition to the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, Stanley Kreitman has been awarded the Yeshiva University Metropolitan Award for Distinguished Leadership in Higher Education.

  A prolific author, Kreitman has had articles published in American Banker, Real Estate Investor, REIT Analysis Journal, and National Real Estate Investor. He's been a guest lecturer at New York University School of Real Estate, Real Estate Square Club, and Young Men's Real Estate Association.

  After he graduated from Roosevelt High School, he attended New York University and received a Bachelor of Science degree from their School of Commerce. He holds a Masters degree from the New York University School of Business and holds an honorary Doctorate of Law degree from the New York Institute of Technology.
