A successful businessman and the President of the Werner F. Hiller Family Foundation, Mr. Hiller was a cofounder of the New Jersey based firms General Spice, Hega Food Products and Genarom International.

After 25 successful years, all companies were sold to ConAgra, a multinational conglomerate, where Mr. Hiller consequently served as president for six years and as consultant for an additional three years.

Currently, Mr. Hiller serves on the board of directors of Technology Flavors & Fragrances of New York and Rosehill Foods of Montreal, Canada.

Mr. Hiller is a longtime member of Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs, L’ordre Mondial Des Gourmets Degustateurs and Institute of Food Technologists.

Born in Oppenweiler, Germany in 1936, Werner F. Hiller immigrated to the United States in 1958. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1960, was honorable discharged in 1962 and became an American citizen in 1966.

A prominent community leader for most of his adult life, Werner F. Hiller is the president of the Cannstatter Foundation since its inception. He was president of the Cannstatter Volksfest Verein for 26 years and served for many years as a director for both the German-American Committee of Greater New York and for Schwaben International. Mr. Hiller is a member of the Deutsche Club Clark in New Jersey for many years.

His interest in promoting and preserving the values, customs and language of his native Germany has made Werner F. Hiller an active supporter of well known organizations: The German-American Steuben Parade Committee, the German-language schools of the area and the Fritz Reuter Home for the Aged are just a few of the numerous cultural and charitable causes Mr. Hiller supports.

Werner F. Hiller, formerly of New Jersey now resides with his wife Helga at the Loxahatchee Golf & Country Club in Jupiter, Florida. His daughters Dagmar and Diane and five grandchildren also reside in Florida.
