The Ellis Island Medal of Honor Society was created by NECO’s Board of Directors to foster fellowship among Medalists and to work towards NECO’s ongoing initiatives to preserve and celebrate ethnic diversity, and to promote equality and tolerance among ethnic and religious groups.

Membership in the Society is reserved exclusively for Ellis Island Medal of Honor recipients.  This elite group is an American “Who’s Who” of politics, industry, finance, sports, technology, education, entertainment and the arts.  Their personal accomplishments, social compassion and civic duty exemplify the best that America has to offer to its people and the world.

The Society holds special events for its members in major cities around the U.S. Society Members may also join their fellow Medalists on exclusive trips abroad.

Membership in the Society is open to all Ellis Island Medal of Honor recipients.
